Two new characters, butler Chlorica and general store employee Doug will be joining the cast of Rune Factory 4.
Can’t wait to see how the new characters fit in
So the preview trailer is out for Tides of Destiny release in Europe. The game will actually revert back to its Japanese title for the release in Europe: The game will be known as Rune Factory Oceans and if what we’re reading is correct, the protagonists will be called Azel and Sonia rather than Aden and Sonja. Confused? Yes so are we!
The game is due for release on 25th May and can
Sonja is the Wind Dragon Priestess and is hosted in Aden’s body as she was kidnapped by the Masked Man and didn’t have a body. As such she is sort of trapped in Aden’s body, but she still has her own personality and forms friendships with the other characters. Sonja is also a playable character, as the game progresses, its possible to play the game with Sonja as the protagonist rather than Aden.
She is also the 4th Dragon Princess.
Aden is the protagonist of Tides of Destiny, but he also harbours the body of Sonja within him. Sonja was kidnapped by a masked man, but when summoned, did not have a body so Aden was chosen as a host. As the Dragon Knight, he is the protector of the Dragon Priestesses. He is a happy-go-lucky character and gets lots of attention from the bachelorettes – sometimes though, he seems oblivious to their attentions. Aden likes to use the dual swords.
When the game has progressed to a certain point, Sonja’s body can be released and the player can play the game as Sonja rather than Aden.
Violet is the youngest of the sisters at the Three Sisters. She works at the clinic and loves gardening. She can also often be found at church where her clinic is located. She is happiest when tending to the flowers in the church garden. Violet is also a Water Dragon Princess and can sing songs of Spirit. She has a big crush on Aden and is very pleased that she is named after a flower.
And here’s part two
Thanks to PiplupPeanut for sharing his playthrough of Tides of Destiny Part 1 on the Wii console!
James is a trader and although he tries hard, he often has a lot of business problems. Even so, he speaks kindly to his sister at all times and tries to keep and difficulties from her. As a trader, he is often away from the island – mainly Mondays and Wednesdays. When on the island, he can be found outside his house early mornings or in the Gemini Store. On some occasions he’ll also be found in the church.
He sees Aden/Sonja as confidantes and often uses them to unburden his business problems.
